Ace Suggs is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer. He was born in Dalton, GA, and grew up throughout the South. Ace got an early start in performing after moving to Plantation, FL with his parents and three brothers. There, as bandmates, they formed the Suggs Brothers Band.
With his love for song writing and performing, Ace went solo as a Freestyle Dance artist in 1989 with his first international hit, X-Ray Eyes. He went on to have other hits, I Get Lonely Too and Physical. In the years following, Ace expanded his career amassing credits for writing, producing, and performing on over 25 albums for various musical genres and artists including Albie Manno (Backstreet Boys, Eugene Wilde, etc.) and Joe Smith (Back Street Boys, NSync, etc.), Mo Pleasure (Earth Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, etc.), and Tony Morra (Bruce Springstein, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, etc.).
Ace continued to gain credit and recognition as an artist sharing the stage with Edwin McCain, Daniel De Los Reyes (Zack Brown Band), Mo Pleasure (Earth Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, etc.), and Rick Washington (Joe Walsh, Kenny Loggins, etc.) Ernest Tubb, Merle Haggard, Jim Ed Brown, Helen Cornelius, Selena, Crystal Gayle, John Anderson, Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada, and many more.
In the studio, he oversees all aspects of the recording process not only engineering but programming, producing, singing lead vocals and all harmony parts. Being a multi-instrumentalist allows him to perform all the instrumental accompaniments as well. This growth has created collaborations, producing albums for On Top Records, Music Up Records, Joey Boy Records, 4 Sight Records, Little House Records, and Mic Mac Records. He’s also produced jingles for advertising companies, TSI, William Cook Agency, and many more.
