DAVID PRUYN, the son of professional musicians, this New Orleans, LA. native has spent a lifetime in music. As a specialist in arranging, orchestration and conducting, David is a natural born leader and vocalist in the PBSO. A protégé of renowned Broadway vocal coach, Fred Silver, he built his skills in the Jimmy Dorsey, Tommy Dorsey, Harry James, and Les Brown bands.
MICHELE JAMES-PRUYN, began her wonderfully varied career at age 15! She has headlined at some of the world’s most beautiful destinations with appearances in the Jimmy Dorsey, Tommy Dorsey and Harry James Orchestras. Her soothing voice, uplifting flair, and wide-ranging vocal flights have audiences and industry professionals alike taking notice of her dynamic talent and mastery of styles.
